BIOGRAPHY
Matthew Licht drove the delivery truck for a VIP liquor store in Beverly Hills and was The World's Second-Oldest Copy Boy at the New York Times. He found his true calling writing for infamous JUGGS magazine and as a volunteer 5th grade teacher at New York’s equally infamous Public School 212.

He is the author of The Crazy-House Gag, The Withering Fire, North of Hollywood Left, NY9E Legends and the detective trilogy World Without Cops. The Moose Show, his first short story collection with Salt Pubs., was nominated for the Frank O’Connor Award. Justine, Joe & the Zen Garbageman, a new collection, is due out soon, also from Salt. His novel WestWays was recently published by Christoph Keller Verlag et al.

His current obsession is with anything on two wheels, as long as no motors are involved. His stories have appeared in Ambit,Reality, Litro, Slake and in the e-zines Tom’s Voice, Fictionaut and Angie’s Diary.

Matthew’s last job was with a freelance rickshaw-wallah outfit, but a brutal licensed taxi-driver syndicate shut them down.
