Dominique Burnett is a writer based on the Channel Island of Jersey, where many of her stories are set. She has recently completed a Masters in Creative Writing through Massey University, New Zealand. Her writing explores issues of shame and failure, with an added interest in the supernatural and the gothic. Dominique has lived and worked in the UK, Switzerland, Singapore and New Zealand, and likes imagining where the next place might be. In the summer she can often be found dreaming about leaving work early for a swim in the sea.
