I thought this was amazing! Hilarious (probably helped that I'm Australian, which made 'MC Dingo' even funnier), immersive, sweet, and actually kind of poignant at times. I think its best feature is its narration. Unlike most kinds of interactive fiction where the narration is dead neutral, making you keenly aware of the fact that you're alone playing a game, Violet is actually fleshed out as a real character. While that's great in and of itself, it also makes the story that much more immersive.

Basically, I loved this.

It's a game where you type in commands, the primary one being "write" since the character is supposed to write 1000 words. If you can't write for some reason, try to solve the distraction. If you really can't figure it out, type "hint."

Lol I wrote a whole 1000 words and it said :sorry please use a different noun.
It didn't detect any words I wrote other than swear words.

This was fabulous. I didn't get it at first, but after a while, I couldn't stop. I went home and had to try it there, and though it took me a while, I was happy when I finally got to the end!

I typed my story, with 1 interruption which was repeated later. I really don't understand. A game? Well, I typed the 500 words or less and then there was nothing. I seem to have wasted my time.

Distraction mission accomplished! My boyfriend is completing his thesis (defending in two weeks) so this game was a scary look inside his head. Thank you - ingenious! (Warning - it took me 3 hrs to solve!)

wow! I played this game for around 3 or 4 hours and finally won! I've never been one to play for that long - believe it or not I'm not a game junkie. I just HAD to figure this one out though! weird at first but good game!
