Jamie Brindle writes various shades of fantasy fiction, from comic fantasy to fantasy so dark it’s going on horror. He always seems to be busy, but somehow manages to get things written in the end. Occasionally, his wife even reads them. Jamie has done a range of jobs in the past, including boomerang salesman, tractor driver, hedge maze attendant, and - most recently - doctor. He lives and works in the Midlands. (Though the maze he mentioned is in Shefford, Bedfordshire, and is still very much worth visiting). The main series he is working on at the moment concerns The Storystream, a universe of interlinked stories and the various meta-narrative entities who dwell there. “A Treatise On Blood And Iron” is a novel about what happens when the walls between stories start to fall apart, and you can get it on Amazon. “All Quiet In the Western Fold” is a novella about a strange sickness which is robbing stories of their conflict, and about the Sheriff - Indigo Shuttlecock - who has to solve the mystery of the sickness before it destroys the stories she is sworn to protect.
