Maria Goodin was born and raised in Hertfordshire. Having completed a degree in English and French in 1999, she has worked as an English Teacher, Holistic Therapist, Technical Writer and University Administrator. She is currently completing a Masters Degree in Counselling. Her stories and poems have been published in Writers’ Forum, Scribble and the Daily Mail, and she recently won the City of Derby Short Story Competition.
