BIOGRAPHY

I live and work in Leicester, and have been writing seriously for the past ten years.
I've had stories published in various publications, including Postscripts, The Fiction Desk and Cemetery Dance. Finding new ways of reimagining and sharing one’s own deepest anxieties seems to me the best kind of pay-off to those hours spent alone in a cramped office staring murderously at a blank screen. One of the many writers I have admired and who has influenced me is Raymond Carver, who provides the inspiration for the story 'Carveresque': a tale that is a dark and ironic homage to the late writer, in the tradition of his own work.
