Denny Johnson
BIOGRAPHY
Denny Johnson is a freelance writer/reporter/photographer who started his career in the newspaper business more than 30 years ago. Johnson grew up a printer's devil in his family's newspaper in Chicago's suburbs and received his first national by-line in 1983 when he reported a story of murder, extortion, and fraud for USA Today. With more than three decades in the market, Johnson has worked extensively with Newspapers, Magazines, and Television: USA Today; The National Enquirer; Gannett News Service; AP; The Globe; The U.S. Postal Service; Easyriders Magazine; The National Examiner; The Chicago Sun-Times; The Chicago Tribune; The Chicago Daily Southtown; Gamma Photo, N.Y.; Bauer Publishing, Berlin, Germany; The Lion International Magazine; UPI; Topics Magazine, The U.S. Information Service; Hard Copy; The David Letterman Show; Color TV; and TBS.
