The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains.

The Wolf, however, did truly come at last. The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of terror: "Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the sheep"; but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance. The Wolf, having no cause of fear, at his leisure lacerated or destroyed the whole flock.

There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.

I liked this story, because I understood how people will feel when I lie to them.
I learned valuable lesson today.
I shall not lie to trick other people.
And I will gain some other respect from people who I lied to.
I just love Aesop.

I learned that if i dont tell the truth for the first time, nobody will trust me after that even if i tell the truth later. This story is very interesting because i can learn when i read it. The lesson is:"the lie is wrong because when i say the truth, people wont believe me".

I think that this fable is true because if you lie with something very important like the boy and the wolf. Then, for the next time no one will believe your story and will not help you, even if its true or an urgency. This fable teaches that not to lie. It teaches not to joke with serious problems. It teaches not to believe in liars

I like this story because its easy to understand for children who like to lie someone that can effect to children for the future. The title of this story is the boy who cried wolf. The author is Aesop. The major character is the boy who lied villagers about wolf that can make villagers didnt believe him. The moral fom the website is, there is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth. My moral in theis story is, its a bad way to lie, and you should speak the real thing that can make everybody to trust you. By Kristiya.

I know this fable when I was five years old .
It was famous in my hometown. Almost every child knew from the kindergarten.

This time I review the fable again.
To be frank, I would like to agree , everyone should honest , should tell the truth all the time , if lie , it would be nobody trust you , nobody give you help when you tell the truth .

"Thanks Ms. Talley for give this homework"

In my opinion I think this story is very popular. This is a very good story because its short. I think if you want to get attention, you have to think another ways. Is the best when you talk the true because you not going to get a lot of problems. I hope everybody understand that lie is not good and is not a good way to resorve your problems.

Based on the reading of this story, I can conclude that if we lie at people, at the end even if its for fun, well all becoming alone and people will let us down when we needed them. So dont lie cause itll come back like a slap in your face:)

This story is not true. Thats why its a fable. It does not pertain to real life. You should always believe what someone is trying to tell you, even if it wasnt true that time. Just because a person lies one time, it doesnt mean they are going to be lying the next time.
