The Boy Who Cried Wolf

A shepherd-boy, who watched a flock of sheep near a village, brought out the villagers three or four times by crying out, "Wolf! Wolf!" and when his neighbors came to help him, laughed at them for their pains.

The Wolf, however, did truly come at last. The Shepherd-boy, now really alarmed, shouted in an agony of terror: "Pray, do come and help me; the Wolf is killing the sheep"; but no one paid any heed to his cries, nor rendered any assistance. The Wolf, having no cause of fear, at his leisure lacerated or destroyed the whole flock.

There is no believing a liar, even when he speaks the truth.

It is nice story.
I think that to tell lies is bad thing.
We have to be honest.
Why the boy told lies.
Didnt he think the thing is this.
Why his neigubers didnt come when he tell the truth.

This story is short,so I can understand about lesson of this story very easilly. This story is very simple ,but a shepherd-boy teaches very important lesson of life for us.I think, because Aesop use many animals in stories, all stories that written by him are easy to understand even a child. For example, fox, sheep, wolf, rabbit, tortoise and so on.So,children learn important lesson through aesops story as they enjoy.

If you told a lie often, nobody would believe you. This story theach us like that.I think that we must be honest to everybody. If you were not honest, your friend would leave you.If I often were told a lie by my friend, I would hate her.

This story says to us dont be a liar. I think that these are different to tell a lie and to be a liar. Because there is a good lie. When you tell a good lie, you would not be thought of a liar. If you are a genuine person, and you can be a honest man.

This is a very famous story.
When I was a kindergartner, I read this story. This story teaches us that don´t have to tell a lie. If someone tell a lie, that person will lose a trust. Then, nobody believes one. I think that don´t tell a lie is a good moral in our society.

I like this story. My son tells a lie sometimes. I told him not to tell a lie because its not good for him.
This story is a good example of how lying is bad for everybody.
The more you lie, the more people lose trust in you, like how this boy in this story.

I know this story bacause I read this story when I was a child. This story is very simple but there is very important and good moral for us especially children. I think THE BOY WHO CRIED WOLFs moral is SELF DO, SELF HAVE. In our lives, we are appreciated by our behavior. If your behavior were good, you are appreciated well. However If your behavior were bad, your would be in trouble someday bacause of your behavior. So lets behave ourselves correctly every time!!!

Its a real interesting story, because my mom always told me always to say the truth, no matter if you suffer a little. But at the end all people trust you. Tell always the truth, is the most important thing in a real life.

My mom always told me to say the truth, and when i read this story at school, and realize why my mother told me that. I learned that if you always speak the truth, everyone will believe you. You have to be a model to your children. Telling the truth makes you happy. You can go through life making others feel great. I always say to my boys to tell the truth no matter what, because that makes you trusty.

I liked this story, because when I was a child my mother used to tell me about this story. And the importance of always saying the truth, no matter how bad is the situation. This is a good story for my children. Because it has a special meaning for life. And shows them that if they do not say the truth, when they need it there will be no trust.
