The Fox and The Crow

A Fox once saw a Crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.

"That's for me, as I am a Fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.

"Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried. "How well you are looking today: how glossy your feathers; how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does; let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."

The Crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her mouth the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox.

"That will do," said he. "That was all I wanted. In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future: "Do not trust flatterers."

the story provides me with a helpful advice about the belief. We should put our belief exactly. We especially dont trust the flatters because they are not good for us. The persons who always tell flatterers wont tend to help you but they just want to get benefits from their flatters.

I heard this story when I was a little girl. Because I heard this story so when someone commend me, I will to thing about that because I dont want I will be deceived by someone. I think this is a very good story because this story can tell the person who like listen praise, do not do that. I know every people like commend, but when someone to praise you, you should to think about why! Like this story crow just lost a piece of cheese maybe it wasnt a big problem ,but if you dont paly attention, maybe you will lost something very important to you even your life.

Its a very funny and a serious story. The auther use clever fox to deceive the dull crow, its very vividly. this store told us comliment is not credible. someon can do everything for something they want. so today, we must be cery carefully in the community. remember: good advice is harsh to the ear; faithful words grate on the ear.

• I gave 5 stars because even though I had already heard this FABLE is very true, and we must put into practice. Also when I saw the various comments I understand that many are aware of this FABLE. But for some people is fun but it really is a good moral education. Us to be ready when we are in this situation.

This story gives us valuable advice. The fox cheated the crow. Absolutely a fox is a bad guy. But I think that the crow also bad because he uncritically believe the foxs praise. Dont trust easily someone who suddenly appears front of you adulate you. He/She may be a cheater. we should try to doubt strange toady.

I think this story is very interesting. Most of Aesop’s fables always have the animal as the main character and the story is not difficult for children to understand what the author wants to give them. In my opinion you can be grateful with the compliment but you don’t obsess it or believe it all. Because sometimes you may see someone who wants to trick you cause he want something from you like the fox in this fable.

The story was very interesting. When i finished reading the story I thought that it was a little senseless, but after that I realized that the last comment of the fox was very real. Nowdays, we can´t trust in the words of the people because we can see faces but not their hearts. The crow was very innocent and the fox took that chance to get the cheese. Anyway, this fable give us a really important moral.

I think, the story reviled a fascinated way of teaching everyone a very important lesson, when someone thinks they can manipulated the good will of the people telling lies, and see them self in a tight situation. no matter what, you would not be trusted again . Consequently to that, expel and ignored .
